Getty Images and their creepy chats

In what seems to be a move out of desperation from sales managers, Getty Images now pops up an annoying, creepy little window when you browse for images. "Need help? Click here to chat with a representative." Either they're way too into targeting the new tech-savvy tween market that's entering our young creative ranks or they're tired of having their phone calls sent to voicemail.

I will probably try to bug them once I do have some time and post the results here. Anyone else finding this creepy and annoying?

Apologies for the belated comment -- What bugs me, are not the pop-ups on so many sites to "chat to a representative", it's that whenever I was indeed interested in just that and clicked to accept the invitation on the pop-up, I always found myself redirected to a screen telling me that all reps were busy, I was in a queue, and the waiting time was X minutes (always in excess of 25 mins)... so I would give up and have so far never actually engaged in any such chat. What I actually find more annoying is the pop-up which consistently appears on almost every website that does not have the 'chat' pop-up: the dreaded "could you help us improve by completing this quick survey" pop-up. Both really defeat their objective of providing me as their (potential) customer with the best (most efficient) service/access/etc... how strangely paradoxical.

...then if you play your cards right... you could either get skull, or a mammal-hole. Is "this creepy and annoying?" Oh, hell NO!
